What kind of flooring looks can you get with vinyl?

Vinyl flooring can mimic natural flooring amazingly well; this synthetic flooring can be lightweight, waterproof, and budget-friendly. It can go anywhere in the home. It’s easy to clean and ideal for homes with pets and kids. Olden Carpet and Flooring can offer you luxury vinyl that looks like wood, stone, or tile.

Wood-look

Luxury vinyl planks and tiles can be made to look like wood species. The species you can have is a wide selection, including oak, cherry, poplar, and maple. It can be smooth or hand-scraped. The styles can vary from rustic to modern farmhouse, to Art Deco, to industrial.  You can also get these same looks on a vinyl sheet.

Stone-look

The stone-look tiles can mimic all kinds of stone, from marble to granite, to sandstone, to slate, to travertine. Luxury vinyl tile clicks and locks together in a tongue and groove system. So it doesn't need to be attached to the subfloor. However, some tiles are designed to be glued down, which is also the case with vinyl sheet flooring for the same stone look. Sometimes the tile can have grout added to the flooring to enhance the visuals for a more realistic look.

Tile-look

There are two types of ceramics, ceramic and porcelain. Both are hardened in a kiln at high temperatures. Luxury vinyl does an excellent job of mimicking these two materials. The best brands have at their core a stone plastic composite core that has limestone in it. This tile feels very similar to natural ceramic tile.
